The Process management support in the Contact Centre of the University Information System, e.g. at the Study Department, has already been used by four universities. This is an important step in dealing with the administrative proceedings issues.

Our partner schools involved in the Erasmus Without Papers project can make use of the extension of the Foreign Studies module that allows them to conclude electronic inter-university partner agreements.

We have implemented a range of new functionalities in the My College mobile application. Now users have the option to manage financing of their studies and activate notification of new UIS events. The application is newly available at Škoda Auto University and Pan-European University.

In co-operation with our customer, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, we have launched a beta version of My Study mobile application, which is a full alternative to the UIS's Student Portal in the iOS and Android operation system environments.

The Benefits module of the University Information System can now process payments to students' accounts in different currencies than the national one, incl. automatic pay-outs through international payment system.

The University Information System now contains the agenda for general creation of letters by the Study Department using the pre-prepared templates by the Legal Department and data on the individual students and their studies.

The University Information System has been complemented with a brand-new module called Student Class Evaluation. The package of applications including meticulous preparation of students surveys, their evaluations and managerial outputs is a valuable tool for assessment and to increase the quality of teaching at universities. Czech University of Life Sciences Prague has been using the module since May 2019.

We have arranged to move the UIS cluster of Mendel University in Brno to a new, more modern building. We would like to thank our system administrators who made the moving as successful and smooth as possible.

From 12 to 14 June we attended the EUNIS 2013 conference in Riga where we conducted discussions with the attendees. We succeeded in establishing cooperation with DreamApply, which could assist us with study internationalisation, and also in deepening business cooperation in the Baltic region.

On 16 and 17 May our management accompanied Petr Nečas, the Prime Minister of the CR, to Lithuania and Latvia on a business mission. During the mission we were able to establish several important business contacts that will assist us in expanding our activities in the Baltic region.

IS4U has experienced a very productive week. Three children were born to three of our employees in one week.

Based on contractual agreements, IS4U has implemented and operates the UIS's Document Service module at Constatine the Philosopher University in Nitra and at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

The first wave of IS4U employees certification has increased the number of certified MCP specialists to 4 persons covering database, technical as well as programming Microsoft tools.

Despite keen competition, IS4U has won an innovation voucher for cooperation with Mendel University. The subject matter of their common project is to create a pilot project of data storage by means of the Business Intelligence technology within the UIS.

Employees from IS4U shared their know-how with researchers participating on a large international project IPPHEAEA of Mendel University in Brno. This project concentrates on finding adequate tools and procedures that would help the National Library of Lithuania in its fight against plagiarism.

IS4U took part in the education trade fair AKADÉMIA held in Bratislava in October 2011. They introduced their University Information System and presented their approach to dealing with IS at universities.

The football team of IS4U is going to test their strength and skills in the next year of the contest called "JIC Football Talent 2011". Our last year victory is binding enough for us to try to win the "talent title" again.

Mendel University in Brno has closed negotitations with IS4U regarding transfer of technology; no deal was made.

Our company has commenced cooperation on developing internal system applications with a prominent vendor of security solutions AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.

Football team IS4U won the "O pohár plný piva 2010" tournament organized under the auspices of the South Moravian Innovation Centre. 11 teams took part in the tournament, all of them tenants in the JIC incubators.

Milan Šorm (IS4U) and Tomáš Majer (Mendel University) presented at the EUNIS CZ conference a joint paper about the possibilities in development of information system for universities. Their presentation was met with many positive reactions.

The company complied with the entrance criteria to be incubated in the South Moravian Innovation Centre.

After its establishment the company initiated negotiations with Mendel University in Brno about the technological transfer of solutions developed at the university.
