Only then do we survey and record the internal connections and processes. The outcome of this phase is the pre-implementation study with diagrams of components, their processes and interconnections.
Based on the identified information it is possible to draft the company architecture. Apying attention to flexibility of internal and external connections most drafts build on the service-oriented architecture (SOA). The individual automated processes in SOA represent independent services with clearly defined rights and way of application. The above described approach improves the arrangement in the structure of the employed information technologies and in the future facilitates extensions or modifications of these services. Moreover, correct implementation of SOA generates tools for information system operation audit at a customer.
